Modern life can be challenging for both owner and dog which is why we have invested much time and effort into developing knowledge and understanding of our relationship with dogs. Many of the common behaviour issues that Dog Owners experience can be corrected or managed by an adjustment to the relationship we have with our pets. Our Behaviour expert studies at The Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour and Training and uses a non violent approach based upon the principles of establishing Pack Leadership within your home.
The training is aimed more at owners rather than dogs and tackles communication issues, perceptions of dog behaviour and offers an insight into why your dog does what he does.
Each case is treated individually and normally involves a home visit or assessment. Your relationship with your dog can then be observed in its normal environment and if there are issues to resolve our follow up report will give you help and guidance every step of the way. This service is backed up by telephone support available for you to use at any time.
We can also offer help for long term behaviour problems or severe cases. We have a training course that establishes strong and effective leadership skills in order that you and your dog can enjoy a relationship built on the Pack Leader framework. Each course will last 4 weeks and provide 1-2-1 training sessions plus additional exercises for you to practice each week.
We also operate a Dog Psychology and Behaviour Assessment Centre where your dog can come and stay with an established balanced pack and go through an up to 2 week rehabilitation course.
